Mission to Rennes at a glance

Are you interested in innovation in the food processing sector? Do you want to discover new trends in data and photonics applied to the agrofood industry in France? Join a European delegation hosted by Valorial in Rennes for a 3-day programme and attend the CFIA 2023 fair in the heart of the top food-processing region in Europe.

AURORA Roadshow in Rennes, France will take place 14-16 March 2023 as part of a short-term cross-border mobility scheme ClusterXchange organised within the AURORA EU project. Funding available based on eligibility criteria (circa 450€).

Support with logistics will be provided by the host organisation.

Full agenda

• Monday 13/03: Recommended arrival in Rennes, France. Hotel chek-in and informal dinner
• Tuesday 14/03:
  • Morning: Mission kick off, welcome coffee and meet up with the Valorial team, departure for the CFIA and light lunch at the fair
  • Afternoon: Guided tour at the Factory of the Future booth by BDI 
  • Evening: Cocktail/gala or networking session (TBC)
• Wednesday 15/03:
  • Morning: Conference “Data to stimulate innovation and operational excellence of agrofood factories?”
  • Afternoon: Workshop and guided innovation tour around photonics technologies in collaboration with Photonics Bretagne
  • Evening: Networking lunch
• Thursday 16/03:
  • Morning & afternoon: Site visits across Valorial ecosystem (TBC depending on the profile of visiting organisations)
  • Evening: End of the mission
